Hi!
I am trying to perform relaxation calculations in two different systems one containing 16 atoms another with 56 atoms in a cell. With the same set of parameters previously my calculations worked, but this time I am getting this error messages as follows -

for a 56 atom cell, 4 4 4 k-mesh, PAW pseudopotentials running in 480cores I am getting this message without any further errors but this:
Abort(13) on node 9 (rank 9 in comm 0): application called MPI\_Abort(MPI\_COMM\_WORLD, 13) - process 9

similarly, in a 16 atom unit cell, 4 2 4 k-mesh, PAW pseudopotentials running in 120 cores I am getting this error message without any further errors but this:
Abort(13) on node 2 (rank 2 in comm 0): application called MPI\_Abort(MPI\_COMM\_WORLD, 13) - process 2

I looked online, and the summary I have got is this because of the program I am using not the machine, but my understanding might not be correct. So, looking for suggestions.

Thanks

Hi sms,

Basically your calculation got terminated because an error occurred in your calculation.

Sometimes it so happens that the error message issued by Abinit doesn’t arrive in the log file.

Can you provide a log and/or input for your case?

Bogdan
