This forum is the place for discussion and exchange of information related to the build and usage of ABINIT, that might not be found in the ABINIT documentation. Also, some news are conveyed here, in addition of being sent to the ABINIT mailing list.

In order to post, one needs to Sign up and Log in. An access code can be obtained by contacting the Web master of abinit, see Contact us | ABINIT .
We need some informations to identify you: please mention your affiliation (university, company, …) and possibly publications or one-sentence description of your status.
The use of a professional email address will facilitate the process.
The ABINIT forum has been migrated to discourse in the first semester of 2021. So, many hints for the use of ABINIT might be found on the old forum .
In order to be efficient, please, upload auxiliary files in addition of description of your problem. Many file types are accepted, including .abi and .abo files. The maximal size for uploaded files is 4Mb, but of course you might as well provide a link to your file.
